Heya!

I am a BBQ enthusiast, located in Northern California.  We get to enjoy year round grilling and Q'ing weather.  So the only thing we enjoy more than cooking outside, is EATING!  The area is a bit of a bread basket with good product and restaurants at your fingertips.  I have been using an old CharGriller side box that I inherited many years ago.  I have kept the old girl running, but also just recently added a GMG Daniel Boone, which I purchased for my birthday.  I did a lot of homework, and realized that every kind of cooker has it's strengths and limitations.  I am very happy with my choice, as I realize that once I get the machine dialed in, it will be "set it and forget it"!  Do you remember my previous comment that we enjoy eating more?  I still do enjoy tending a perfect fire, as that is the old boy scout in me...  I am hoping to pick up some tricks, tips, product reviews to expand my passion for cooking outdoors.  I am thinking that my last piece might be building a wood fired oven.  Maybe we can start a section for that?
