First off welcome Lone leigh to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.

Loneleigh welcome to SMF from another Nortern Californian. I will put you on our party list. Please go to "Great American BBQ" in Alameda Calif and try some of Harry Stewart's awesome brisket. He is on High Street about 50 yards into Alameda from the High Street Bridge. Tell him that an ugly old chuck wagon cook sent you. He will also be a good mentor to ask questions. Harry is the real deal and has no secrets.

Hey Lonelegh what part of concord do you reside in? I live in Antioch and I have family along willow pass road. I new to this club and I'm fairly new to smoking. congrats on on your new offset smoker.
