To everyone Im from South Carolina, and I have been reading and gathering information from the forum for a couple weeks now and decided to join. The wife will not let me drag race so I have been thinking about getting into competition BBQ. I have been cooking for years now but on a gas cooker that I made from a 275 gallon fuel oil tank. I know I need to step up my game and build a real smoker to compete, so from my research I have decided to build a stump clone and have now developed OCD about smoking. I have good fab skills and Im a decent welder. Plan to start the build in April. Thanks in advance.
