Hello all, my name is Jon and this will be my first attempt at smoking, meat at least . I just purchased a Charbroil Silver Smoker from HD for my son's 3rd B-day party this Sat. I cant wait to give it a shot. I feel after pouring over all of these post I'm an expert, not really, but if I screw it up it will be no ones fault but my own. I had so many questions, but found you guys had already answered them at one point or another in the past. It is great having so many different perspectives. I will be sure to give up update as to how the food was. Cooking 4 racks of beef ribs and 20 pieces of bone in skin on chicken thighs plus some brats, or at least what I have room for.
