Hey everyone! I've been reading stuff on this site for a while and hadn't created an account or posted. So, here I am finally posting!! :)

When people ask me what my hobbies are, the first thing and usually only thing I say is "smoking animals." I love me some good smoked animal.

When I smoke, I'm a bit of a cheater and currently use an electric smoker with thermostat. I have a Masterbuilt 30-Inch Top Controller Electric Smoker with Window and RF Controller. It works great and lets me smoke my meat without having to monitor it all day. Just add some wood chips throughout the day. I bought the cold smoke attachment as well and make bacon on a regular basis.

I also have a charcoal webber that gets frequent use for those faster cook times (rib eye steak) or finishing off something on high heat.

I've been smoking with the Masterbuilt for almost 2 years now and use it at least once a week if not more.

We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

Electric isn't cheating. A lot of great Q made in a MES.
