Hey All,,
PDT_Armataz_01_34.gif

I know it's been a while but I wanted to keep you posted. I ordered a thermo-works, thermo-pen/splash-proof new style

http://www.thermoworks.com/products/...thermapen.html

99.00 but I guess you pay for what you get, I also ordered me a Weber 22" performer model

I'm excited

it should be here

by next week. I wanted the thermopen because my chicken on the stove top always comes our tough cause i don't want to under-cook it, I hope the pen will keep it right and moist!

Thanks Michael

Any good Idea on adding smoke chips and best to use, to the Weber when I cook.

Hello from Montana! Welcome to the greatest place on earth. we have very fond memories of "Rudy's" Think I ate my bodyweight last time I was down in SA.

Welcome to the SMF, and congrats on the new Weber grill. Along with using foiled chips, you might want to try using wood chunks. Chunks don't burn as fast as chips, so you don't end up reloading as often. It's all good my friend.

Welcome to the SMF. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome aboard amigo. I'm [only] 4 hours south of you LOL. Sounds like you've been lurking around SMF some so you know the deal here - endless resource of friendly people and addictive QVIEW hehehe....
Take Care,

Tom

First off welcome to SMF there Bubba. You'll like this place cause there are alot of good people here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Next if you haven't tried the E-course I would highly recommend it. It's free and very informative and it will give you the basics of smoking. the next thing you do is go grab something to smoke and if you have any questions just post them here and we will help you out licky spilt. Then grab your camera and snao some pictures (Qview here) and let us see what your smoking and what your smoking on too. So go get something to smoke.
Welcome To The Addiction.
