Hello everyone,

I have been on the site for some time, but today was my first post, and I forgot I never did "Roll Call" so here goes.......

Been smoking meet since 1970's when a co-worker invited the “dumb kid from California” who did not know what real

barbeque was, to a church dinner in the 5[sup]th[/sup] ward of Houston, Tx, to try some real smoked barbeque.

They were right, and I have been hooked ever since.

I was just diagnosed with Diabetes and decided to start looking into catering, Low Carb, no sugar, and less salt

pulled pork, ribs, Tri Tip and chicken, at some local events.

Rigs I have now, Home built Vertical smoker, Offset 250 gal Propane tank smoker, Smokaroma, and an offset

CharBroil that I am experimenting with for fun.

I am simi Retired, living in a oak forest NE of Monterey, CA and now have the time to smoke any time I want.

Also I collect antique outboards and find I can get a lot of work done on them will keeping an eye on my smokers,

so both my hobbies produce a lot of smoke.

Thanks

Craig Butcher

Thanks Everyone,

Teeznuts the Vert is in storage in Palm Springs right now, but it is an old Legal Size 4 drawer File cabinet built with heavy gauge steel, each drawer bottom was removed after installing

expanded metal replacement. Put the whole thing on 18in legs and use a wood stove for a fire box. Still working on sealing the front of the drawers. Will get you some pictures next time I get down there.

My wife lived in Fallbrook back in the late 70's, just in time for the flood, But I always found Bonsell more exciting.
