Hello, I'm from South Central, Pennsylvania my husband and I have been smoking as a team. I find recipes and do some of the prep and he helps prep and watches the smoke. He also taste tests! We are casual smokers. We have a gas vertical smoker, nothing fancy but the right size for us. We've done pulled pork, turkey breast, bacon(used a purchased cure), we smoked our Christmas turkey, and my absolute favorite smoked salmon, which we use alder wood, also baked beans. Looking to smoke more veggies, and beef. Looking forward to learning more, and expanding our smoking repertoire.
