Hello everyone

I live on Padre Island and love smoking different kinds of meat.  I am originally form St. Louis Mo. and moved here about six years ago.  I have been smoking for about 9 years and currently own a Traeger Lil Texan, it has been a good smoker but not without its problems, all being conrtoller issues.  However I have just ordered a Smokin It #3 and I am very excited for a new adventure in smoking.

Anyway that is about it, I am retired and living the good life if blue smoke.

Welcome to the board! Use the Search to look up your smoker and see what others have done. Otherwise throw your hat on the rack and put your feet on the table.

Thanks Blue Whisper

Really looking forward to a new smoker and learning all the tricks from the experts on this forum.

You'll see there are many choices, and for any particular choice there are modifications to improve the rig.  I'm running an offset stick burner, and a Weber kettle.

This board is laid-back place, lots of foodies from around the world.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
