Hello from Pa.

    Hi all! I have been around here for a bit, I read a lot of great tips!
    I got addicted about 4 years ago, doing what we call here "white trash friday" this is when a bunch of us get together on friday night to eat and consume some beverages... however the menu is more then the burgers and dogs... we go from filet mignon one week to seafood the next, then came the we should smoke something...ribs!
    I started out with a char broil vertical i came across, then moved to the char grill pro with firebox and now have a mes.
    I did some work in the catering side of the business with my uncle when i was younger, then when the time came moved into the restaurant as a banquet cook.. so feeding a group isn't a problem! (now its a hobbie not a job)
    I like to use apple wood alot mixed with hickory,mesquite depending on the whats going on...
    This weeks menu for the big game : smoked wings,abts,bologna,cheese
    burgers,meatballs,american pierogi,baked potato soup and clams

    Looking forward to giving / getting some more great tips!

    Hey Nootch, welcome to SMF. Nice menu for the "Big Game" (Don't wanna get sued by the NFL...who, by the way recently informed churches they are violating the NFL's copyright clauses by hosting Super Bowl® parties)
