Hello from Pennsylvania if you have anything Zippo you know where they are made then you know where I am from. I have been smoking with an electric smoker and want to change to charcoal and wood. I am still looking for the offset that I can afford that still does a good job and does not require or need modification. I have seen some amazing products that are available. Just my budget is pretty tight. Any suggestions for around $450.00?

Welcome to the forum!  I would think you could get a decent offset in that budget.  I'm a WSM fan and love the charcoal and wood smokes.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and soggy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

I had a nice Zippo I got in Vietnam that the lid got loose. I didn't want to get a new one because it had my Vietnam Etching on it.

I sent it to them & they made it like new again. Then I went & lost it (Think I left it on a Bar one late night in the 80s).

That made me sad, but eventually I quit smoking anyway. Still miss it though.
