Hello from the "rainy" west side of Oregon. New member here. Wife gave me a new Masterbuilt 7-in-1 Smoker/Grill (thanks to Amazon Wish List) for Christmas. Not tried it out yet, as I'm waiting for the rain to stop and for the LP tank splitter to arrive in the mail so the new toy can share a tank with the regular grill on the back patio. I've done some smoking and jerky-making with good results over the past several years using a Big Chief, and am looking forward to trying my hand at sausage making, bacon, and getting in to the bigger cuts of pork. Also planning on building a cold smoking chamber to try my hand at that. I've been enjoying all I've read here so far and am looking forward to participating.

First off welcome to SMF there Chris. You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
