Hey there, Burt from Hamilton, Ontario here...

Came upon your site while "researching", looks like a great bunch of people on here, lots of traffic too

.

I have been grilling for years but picked up a WSM about four years ago and haven't looked back! There is something about tending a fire and those wonderful smells that get the neighbours peeking over the fence with their noses up in the air.

My usual projects are pulled pork, chicken, and ribs. I just did a chuck roast a couple weeks ago and it was also fantastic. Want to do a brisket very soon!

I hope I can learn some different methods and recipies here and will try to contribute where I can.

Here is a pic of a recent rib and sausage BBQ I did on the WSM....

Burt :)

Burt, Welcome from across the Detroit River. I look forward to your contribution to the SMF you are already rolling along.

Hi Burt, and welcome to the best smokin' site this side of Mars, SMF that is. Great lookin' Q you've got going on.

welcome to the forum!!!! and share a smoke right off the bat.... looks great!!! you gonna fit right in here.

Howdy and welcome to our little obsession. I must say though - get a rib rack. Those things are crying to me. I use the wsm exclusively for ribs in comps and have 2 rib racks to place them on.

Hey, any contests in CA? I'm 70 mi south of the border and can make it Montreal in 1.5 hours (if they let me in ;-}

Welcome Burt,

You look to hardly be a newbie. I look forward to learning from you. I think rolling the ribs is a great idea and have never seen it on the forums before-- see we are already learning from you. Thanks for the pics and keep posting when you can.
