Hey everyone, I've been grilling for years on a traditional gas grill and have recently started into the world of smoking. Thus far i have made two attempts at spare ribs, and both have failed :( Ive got a horizontal brickman and am looking for tips.

Let me know if you can help me out.

Welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place for all your smoking information. I'm not familiar with the Brinkmans, but someone will be along shortly to help you out.

Welcome to the form. If you hang around here for a while you will be putting out top notch food in no time. Go to the main page on the left hand side under Jeff's How to articles and read the 3-2-1 method for ribs. This will give you the best ribs every time. Good luck on your next smoke. And post some pics (aka Qview) we love to see them.

Welcome to smf, I'm also new to the world of smoking food, and this site is awesome, you'll get lots of info. I just did my first smoke using the 3,2,1 method, mine were actually baby backs, so it was the 2,2,1 method, but they were absolutely fantastic.
