Hi all Its a pleasure to join the forum, been reading for some time now. Love the set up and the topics. I am an average smoker/griller. I like to experiement and usually focus on pork, deer, beef, and the birds. Really like a smoked duck, with some hickory or dove with apple wood, deeeeeelish! I will brag a bit and say my grilled chicken wings are dynamite. This past weekend I put a few of my remaining deer loins on the irons and enjoyed those with a few cold ones and college football. I use a Char-Griller with the firebox on the side, best grill machine I have ever used. Got that for Dad's day a few years ago. Here in Ohio we have a liberal deer season so I always have plenty of that, I also purchase a half-cow and half-pig once a year. My family is quite large: wife, 4 kids, and my 2 best pals, the dogs. So we obviously eat quite a bit. Looking to expand my range with the hot iron, like to try some jerky and summer sausage some time. Also- love the dutch oven and gardening sections.
