Thank you all for the great tips. I am currently working on refurbishing and modifying my father-in-law's old Brinkmann Pitmaster Deluxe. My father-in-law passed away several years ago and I'm trying to bring his old smoker back to life. Trying to preserve some of their old memories.

Sounds like a real good project!

Looking forward to seeing it when you get it finished.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a sunny and hot day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
