Hello everyone. Ive been lurking these forums for a couple months and finally joined. I purchased an MES 30 on black friday from Lowes and have since smoked spare ribs, baby backs, country ribs, and even a pork butt for christmas dinner. All of which came out delicious and i have yet to experience any of the issues ive read about. I plan to purchase an AMNPS after reading the great reviews about it here, as well as a maverick ET-733 but that will likely have to wait until i get my tax refund. I am married with one on the way and my wife is loving my new hobby. I live in southern Ohio but was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and i look forward to making some wonderful Carolina BBQ.
Thanks,Kyle

Hello Kyle. I'm another newbie. I also have a MES30 from Lowes. Got mine about a year ago and also love it-no problems at all. Mine has the Master Forge name on it, but from what I've read it is a Masterbuilt with a different name for some reason. Welcome to the site. Happy smokin', David.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy, chilly and windy day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Gary

You will find a lot of useful information on this site.

Lot of ideas on different foods and ways to prepare them.

More things to smoke than I have time for.

If you have questions bring them up as there is a ton of experience on this site to draw from.

I know it has helped me immensely.

I also have the MES 30 and have had no problems that have been discussed on these forums.
