Hi you all.  Found this forum after reading Jeff's book.  Wow lots of great info in there.

They call me OB, thats short for O'Brien.  And the OB One just sort of came along after all the star wars hoopla.

Have been smoking on a vertical gas rig since last Fathers Day.   Really have enjoyed the challenge and the good meat.  Been using one of Jeff's rub recipes.   I finally figured out on how to maintain a temp of 230 degrees.  Now I'm looking forward to the next step,  my 36 inch Patio LANG smoker will be delivered next Saturday.  Got a nice Brisket to try it out on.   Will season it and do a couple of dry runs first.

So you-all take care and keep on smoking.

Best regards

OB One
