At the end of October, for my 40th birthday, I got a Bradley four rack smoker. I have used it a few times so far. When I got it, I tried to smoke some baby back ribs...well, that didn't go over so well because I didn't realize the heating element was broken. Once I replaced the element, I smoked a pork loin.. it took about five hours and turned out really well. This past weekend I smoked some chicken and turkey breast and it took a little more than four hours.
Now, I am going to try a ham for thanksgiving. Being new to smoking, and reading some of the posts here I am not sure if I should get one that is "ready to cook" for my first attempt... Does anyone have any suggestions...?
