What took us so long to buy a smoker?! My husband and I would look forward each year to our old neighbors annual smoked chicken but it was not until a month ago that we purchased our Brinkman Vertical (2door) Charcoal smoker. We started out with a beef brisket, then after reading about modifications, we bought a vegetable "wok" that fit right into where the charcoal bowl was. The next week we made meatloaf and some polish sausage, then the next week we made chicken and Italian hot sausage. We feel our smoker works really pretty well for a cheapy $69 purchase, exceeding our expectations! We seem to have the temp thing figured out for the most part since the mod. and look forward for some more great smokin.! Glad to have found this forum, y'all are the best kinda people!
