hello from North Carolina

Hi my name is Sniltz and I live in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Here in NC Pork is King. I used to run the Bar-B-Que circuit. Here not national, just local. I'm the main cook in my house. I grill, Smoke, and just plain Bar-B-Que. All weather doesn't matter. I mostly cook for my reenacting community.(Civil War) I cook pork, beef, chicken, wild game, you know it, I can cook it. I really like cooking fish and seafood. I like to go whole hog and most of the Cow. I have Bar-B-Qued all my life. I like to uses mostly fruit wood to smoke. But, sometimes I use hickory, oak, and maple. Never pecan because I'm allergic to the nut. I love to cook and I love to eat. If you ever come to NC you will enjoy the most delious pork you have ever tasted and you will go home happy. I promise.

Hello from FL sniltz. Not a native of NC but have a LOT of time at Ft Bragg. Thats where I learned coleslaw on a pork sammie can be a good thing! Welcome to our forum - looks like you'll be a great contributor right out the gate!
