Hi Everyone...

I've been grilling for several years now and have become very good at it.  I use two old style Weber gassers that I have refurbed.  The two burner I got off of craiglist for $25 and put $75 into it 4 years ago ( still runs like a champ ).  The three burner I rescued from the trash and put about $125 into 4+ years ago (also still runs like a champ).

My greatest cook so far was a 3.5 lb pork butt that I slow cooked at around 210F on the weber 3 burner for around 7 hours.  It came out like buttah.  It took a little time to get the weber to stay at that temp but if you know your grill you can do it.

My method was to turn on the back burner to medium.  The middle and front burners are off.  Next I slowly turned the valve closed on the propane tank until the flame would almost go out and then I opened it a quarter turn.  that way you have some control with the knob in between medium and low.  Next I put a large stainless bowl with water in the back corner of the grill and placed the rubbed butt on the grill about dead center.  I flipped it about every 1.5 hours and added water once I think.  I took it off when it so tender that it quivered.

I think I'll be purchasing a smoker this week and hope to continue the fun...
