Hello from New York!

I have been lurking here a while, and decided to join as it seems like a great bunch of people here. Im 40 years old this year, and ashamed to say Im just into "REAL" bbq for the last 6months (My first trip to Memphis) and now Im an addict. I go from BBQ joint to BBQ joint trolling for the best BBQ. I cant get enough so I bought my own smoker... A Brinkmann vertical.. and so far so good. Im in Nassau County New York. South Shore Long Island.. Hope to get to know all of you.

Welcome... I lived on LI for 4 years when I was working down there.
I lived in Babylon for 3years and Bayville for a year.. Loved it down there but costs way too much to live there.
