Hello all... From Northern NJ... I was lurking for the past month or so as I looked into getting a smoker. I just ordered the Landmann Smoky Mountain 38" Wide-Chamber Vertical Gas Smoker with 2 Drawers (propane). Should be arriving tomorrow via UPS. I know I need to season it first, so I will be searching the forums for tips and tricks to do that. I have lot's of experience grilling (the first thing I do when it snows is shovel a path to the grill), but very little smoking experience. I have used the Weber Bullet in the past, but I found it very difficult to control the heat and got discouraged. Tried chicken thighs (which worked well) and ribs and brisket (which didn't work).
