Thanks for the welcomes.

TulsaJeff asked if I would post here.

Are most people who visit these forums smoking for themselves or are there any commercial smokers who visit here as well?

Also, does anybody know of any forums where commercial smokers hang out?

I am smoking fish and alot of the smokers that are advertised out in the world -- such as Smoke Shack, Southern Pride, Bradley etc seem to be more promoted as meet smokers.

I would like to get to know some fish smokers who are using the Southern Pride SC 200.

Thanks,

Woods

Hello fellow Canadian. I have smoked salmon and trout but I am not familiar with your unit. I'm sure someone on this forum will be able to help you. I have only been smoking for a year and have received a lot of help.

Welcome to the SMF Family...Members that Smoke large quantities of Salmon, there are several...With that Model Smoker, I don't think so. Try contacting the Manufacturer. They should provide you with a lead to a past customer that bought primarily for fish. If not they may tell you if it will work or what modification you can make or purchase...JJ

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

We love to see pictures of what you are cooking (or what we call q-views here at SMF).  To "upload the q-views" just follow the directions here and it will be easier. If you are using a cell phone, an IPad or a kindle, go to the main SMF page and click the Mobile button. Will make the uploads a bit faster too.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
