Hi! My name is Cathy, I'm the daughter of a former restaraunt owner and chef. My dad taught me everything about cooking. He was the head chef at Silverado CC in the 60's. I recently discovered a new hobbies. Smoking! My hubby bought me a MES a few weeks ago. I am having fun experimenting. I have worked at Napa Auto Parts for 31 years, but good cooking and food is in my blood ;)

Hey Cathy,

Welcome to the site.  I'd say that those chickens are a pretty good indicator that you will fit right in round here.  I envy your education under your Dad.

Welcome Cathy!  Great looking chickens!  Fantastic family story.  My FIL worked at a Napa Auto Parts for decades too, but in Texas, working the farm routes.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum and sharing in your backyard creations.
