Hey everyone, my name's Michael, new to barbecue entirely here. For the last year, I've been situated in an apartment in Boston and I'll be moving (back) to Arizona to rent a house for a few years. After reading and watching the BBQ world for a few months, I'm hoping that after I get situated in AZ, I can start smoking and grilling in the yard.
Of course, as it turns out, AZ isn't really a major barbecue area, so I think as I'm driving back down in the autumn, I'll head through the south and southeast to do a little food tourism before I start cooking my own. Plus, might get some ideas of where I'd like to move once my time in Arizona is finished.
Anyhow, excited to get started in a few months and to learn from you all.
