Hi my name is Kyle. I live in Maryland just south of the state line and about 20 minutes from Gettysburg. I have been married for 4 years now and we have one son who is nine months old now. I spent 5 years in the Marines, which is how I ended up on the east coast when I am actually a California native. I started smoking about this time last year. I have a chargriller duo and received the side firebox as a birthday present from my wife last may. I have done a good number of pork loins with decent success as well as a number of whole chickens that I butterflied. I have been turning to this forum since I started smoking whenever I needed advice and am just now getting around to actually becoming a member. I am about to go start up the grill to do a pork loin that has been soaking in apple juice, apple cider vinegar and a little mustard powder overnight. I'll do my best to post some pictures of my process so that I can get some critiques to make sure I am on the right path. I'll also try to include some pics of my smoker and the simple modifications that I have done to it. I am really looking forward to getting to participate in this community rather than just sitting back and reading.
