Hello, I have always had a general interest in cooking, canning, smoking, gardening and any other process that creates some of the fine foods I love. I have had a couple different electric smokers but recently have been forced to use various grill/charc setups to get the job done. I have been trying to figure out what my next smoking experience will be, recently I have been drooling over custom brick smoker setups and have dreams of a similar project. I have heard a few disadvantages of these setups but I love to dream big, but of course function over beauty any day! My personal favorite/most experienced meat would have to be pork shoulders for pulled. I enjoy that satisfaction of creating something that is great and often get a sense of pride when whatever I am creating turns out to be a success. As someone who is generally a scattered and ADD type of person, cooking seems to be something I can focus on and display some serious attention to detail. I am excited to "meat" some people who share these passions and I believe I have found the place. I have lurked here for a while and seen that some fellow Michiganders have a decent presence on this forum which is also encouraging. Thanks and I look forward to friends and learning.

Thanks

DW
