hey guys. i guess i'm an slightly over a beginner as far as skill level goes. i've grew up around smokers all my life, but never really paid attention to what was really going on until the past summer. well, summer passed and it was time for college again and it didn't take long for me to realize i could make bbq a lot better than any place around here. the only problem was i didn't have a smoker and the apartment i lived in wouldn't allow them. i spent the winter cooking butts in the oven using liquid smoke. that got me by for a while and it really helped me learn about rubs and different flavors b/c of the steady temps and all. anyway, i'm about to move to a new place which will allow smokers and am about to purchase a gosm widebody from walmart. i guess that's about it. sorry for the long drawn out monologue and hope it makes sense. just got home and it's "thirsty thursdays", so please excuse any typos lol. hopefully i'll have some q-views up in the next few weeks!
