I just got a Smoke Hollow 44 smoker. I'm new to using a smoker but I am very excited to get started.

Today I put a gasket seal around the doors to better seal the doors closed. I did this based on some research. I'm hoping to "season" my smoker tomorrow. And then start smoking some meat.

I'm planning on making venison snack stix, rabbit, beef brisket, pork butt, and ribs just to name a few.

hello did my first smoke today and it was great but i did notice alot of smoke coming out from the door so your idea with the seal sounds good i also have a sleepy hollow could you post a few pics of your mod and give me a heads up where you got the seal....thanks

I used a Big Green Egg replacement gasket, size large. I will try to post some pics as soon as I get a chance.

Please feel free to look at my photo album. I posted a couple pictures of the seal on the door of my smoker. I put the seal on both the top and bottom doors. Good luck.
