Just wanted to say hello! to everyone here. Live in south Central Kansas, near Wichita. Just got a gas GOSM for Father's day. Can;t wait to try it out!
I have a small Brinkman, never could get the dang think to work right. I couldn;t keep enough heat in t. MOstly I use it to charcoal grill when I want the taste of Charcoal grilling. Otherwise, I use my three burner gas grill. I also have a homemade larger smoker on wheels. It was made and used by a guy that did catering on the side. Works, okay, but unless I am smoking a large quantity of meat (which happens about once a year) it is just too large. I was lamenting that fact, which prompted the gift of the GOSM. With the new smoker, and the ability to cook smaller quantities, I am looking forward to experiementing and learning!
