Holy Land BBQ KS
That's right all! I'm from the holy land of BBQ.  Where any reason is a good reason to tailgate. Ironically was never a huge fan of BBQ until a couple of years ago.  Mostly resided in burgers and brats until I found a love for ribs. Decided a week ago I'd like to get into smoking.  So with the direction of forum members and many articles by Jeff, I bought myself an ECB last Friday. Modded it up and smoked a rack of spare ribs on Saturday.  I must admit they turned out better than I could have ever imagined and loved every minute of the process.  Though in hind site, I can't be all that surprised as I just did everything Jeff said. haha. Probably going to smoke some more this coming Friday.

So I'm trying to start a nerd fatty thread for my recent smoke and its says I'm not allowed?  Is this normal?  I know I'm new but how do I become not new if I can't start a thread?  Any way a mod can fix this please?  Thanks.

Edit:  Looks like my problem was fixed one way or another. Thanks.
