SW Iowa
Hello all. I am a noob from SW Iowa (about 20 miles South of Omaha, NE for those that may have just watch the College World Series). Married with 4 adopted (young) kids. We love BBQ (specifically Oklahoma Joe's) and the inlaw is always smoking up some good stuff so I thought I would try my hand. The wife and kids bought me a Masterbuilt XL (no mods for now) for fathers day and I just got it put together. I think I will try to do the initial burn tonight and maybe some smoking this weekend. Lots of good reads on this forum and now hopefully I can put some of that knowledge to use.

Happy Trails!

Chris

If you didn't read the Terms of Service notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. Rule #11......"Off Site Links are not allowed here at SMF" is something new. There are other simple guidelines for all of us to remember as we interact here.

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
