My name is Greg Sherwin and I'm in Central Indiana.  Been grilling for years but just brought my first smoker this past summer.  I stumbled across this site looking for tips and tricks and now visit every week looking for new ideas.

I have a Smoke Hollow electric smoker that I have added a custom PID controller to.  I found the existing thermostat controller fluctuated too much for my liking and caused me to check on it too often.  I'll be posting some pics of the mod over in the electric smoker section once I take some, but have to say it's the best mod that could ever be done to this unit.  I can now hold temps at +/- 1 degree.

I've done pulled pork, ribs (spares and baby back), tenderloins, brisket, Dutch's Wickeds, corn on the cob, turkey, chicken, you name it.  I can't stop finding things to put in that smoker, and every time it turns out perfect.  Trying to est healthier this year so I'm going to be trying more veggies and seafood.

Central Indiana is not exactly the heart of BBQ country so I've pretty much ruined my family and myself and can not accept the smoked food we find in the joints around here.  Nothing turns out better than making it yourself.
