My name is Randy and I am using a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker that I have had now for about 6 weeks, my wife got it for our anniversary. I have been lurking around because it took a while to get my account active. I like this site over some others because of all the pics (my wife says I spend time looking at "bbq porn".) I love all the good info and new ideas I get from this site and hope to contribute shortly.

Yes I have put it to use, just about every weekend since I got it, usually more than once a weekend. The pork butts have been pretty popular (wife's favorite), ribs are coming out great (my favorite), brisket was a little disappointing (gotta work on that), and tweaking my whole chickens.

Soon I want to try pastrami and sausage-making is in the near future too. Really disappointing thing is that I have to travel to Colorado this week for a family event and will miss Memorial Day weekend away from my MES. Wife says I can not strap it to the roof of the car and take it with us. Oh well, there are other weekends.
