I have been grilling as far back as I can remember, but I am new to the smoking world. I have a gas 36" Smoke Hollow and so far I have done 4 racks of ribs.
I have a Buckboard Bacon in the fridge that will be done curing next week. I got the bacon cure from Hi Mountain.
There is quite the learning curve to this smoking, but I have learned a lot on this site, with a lot more to learn.
I lived and worked in Alaska for 26 years. I worked on heavy equipment for 12 years, then 14 years in electrical generation. 3 in coal fired steam and 11 in hydro. The 11 years in hydro was on Kachemak Bay near Homer Ak. Real good fishing there. So good in fact it is tough trying to eat store bought fish!!!
I live in SW Idaho near Ontario Or.

This is a great site and I look forward to being a member here.
