I live in Mobile AL and have been smoking meats for many years but even at age 66 I can always learn[emoji]128516[/emoji]

I have been using a CB Akorn for 5 years but recently gave it to my fishing buddy. It is still in great shape but I decided to go very simple this time around.

So I bought an Old Smokey grill and really like it so far. I managed to find a 10 year old Weber Go Anywhere propane grill still new in the box. This is the old style with flavor bars and standard grill...not the new one that everyone seems to hate. This way I can use my Old Smokey for slow smokes with pork butts, turkeys, chickens etc. Then have the Weber for quick burgers or hot dogs plus grab it for picnics away from home.

Looking forward to this forum and learning more about my favorite hobby.
