Hi all. Found the site and just sayin hi. Been smokin for a while on a heavily modified ECB. Just purchased the new Brinkmann smoke'n pit. Thanks to the review on the front page. Can't wait to put it together this weekend. Anyway hello to all!!!

Welcome to SMF Outdrdude, glad you hopped on board! You would benefit from taking Jeff's 5 day ecourse, it's cocked full of great info on smoking techniques and things you need to know...

I'd like to see some pics of the heavily modified ECB of yours... I just acquired one and I'm about to "tune it up"...

Have fun!

Welcome to SMF, looking forward to reading your posts and seeing photos of your Q.

The mods I did to my ECB can be found here: www.randyq.addr.com/index.html

Wow what a difference they made. some great recipes on the site too. Sadly my ECB went to a friend when I bought my new smoker. Just gives me an excuse to go get another one and tinker with it.
