I just found this forum while looking for some smoking tips and it looks like I found the right place. My awesome girlfriend gave me a beast of a smoker for Christmas and I've had success with chicken, salmon and brisket so far. Put the last piece of a 15lber in this morning actually. Next is baby backs and I've seen some good looking ones in some of the posts here and will definitely be paying attention to the tips and suggestions from those who know.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'll be looking for some cold smoke ideas to make use of the attachment that I got along with my new toy.

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a beautiful chilly day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Hey neighbor! Where in the state do you dwell? (Approximately). I'm on the seacoast. Storm central it has been indeed!

But, we bring our own sunshine in this great world and here is to that!

Welcome aboard. You'll love it here!

Cheers! - Leah

Hi Leah. I'm in the Nashua area and we've gotten dumped on as well but I'm loving it even with all the shovelling. Got to keep the deck clear because the grill is always on standby.

Gary - thank you so very much! That made my day!

And Whatsfordinner; how fabulous that you're in Nashua! I lived there years ago but NOW you have a Whole Foods! Lucky you!

And Trader Joe's moved up the street into your turf technically (as it was on the Tyngsboro, MA state line when I was there - next to the movie theater) although only blocks from where it is now. Your town has grown!

But yes, you got your surfeit of snow there too. Sounds like a little more for the weekend; and so smoke, drink, and eat up! And stay warm and enjoy!

Cheers! - Leah

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
