How are y'all doing? I wanted to stop and say hello. I've been reading on this site for a little while and I picked up a couple of 250 gal tanks today so I figured I'd go ahead and register. I've never built a smoker but I am planning on going the reverse flow route. I am looking for ideas, suggestions, or to possibly hear about some hard learned lessons. Thanks in advance and y'all take care.

Welcome aboard.  I was born in East TX but joined the Army and haven't been back.  I imagine in a bit there will be the same few folks that cut and paste their standard spiel about reading the rules, and how many members we have and all that jazz. Important stuff but not what you're looking for...   the guys you wanna hit up are the ones in the builders threads.  These guys make great works of art and can definitely steer you in the right direction on your builds.  Again welcome and good luck on your builds.

Welcome to the Forums!  Glad you found us.  This is a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...smoking and grilling great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Any time you need help, just ask and you'll get plenty!

Good luck with your RF build project!  Be sure to browse through the smoker builds forum, and ask those guys over there any technical questions you may have.  There have been lots of builds displayed over there for you to learn from.

Have fun!

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff in Rule #11.

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
