I'm fairly new to smoking, actually been doing it with an electric smoker for a couple years now. I'm a sheetmetal worker and recently made a reverse flow smoker. Time to get serious! My homebuild is 36" long, 22" round, firebox is 18x16x16. I have to say, its a whole new ball game! I have been using charcoal and wood chunks for the initial seasoning and having problems getting my temp up over 140 (any tips would be greatly appreciated). I would really like to master smoking and enjoy the whole process and work it takes to produce great bbq. Thanks for taking the time to read this and any advise is very welcome!
