What a great Forum you have here. I live in Delaware and hope to get into the KCBS competitions in the very near future. I did get my feet wet last week at Bay Bar Q in Annapolis, MD. Helped a friend out with his team. We got a call for our Pork. I have a pull behind propane tank type smoker but will probably go with a Webber in the future. Can't wait to dive into all the great info this site has to offer and hope to add some helpful input myself. John aka 302smoke

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

Cool Toy!  Beware in the KCBS sponsored events...wood, charcoal and pellet smokers are the only ones that are allowed for comps.

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums. http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/a/terms-of-service

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!

Yes, my smoker has the ability to cook with gas. It also has a fire box for charcoal and wood. Would KCBS not allow such a device? I know you can't use propane. Thanks
