  1. HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!Long time peruser of the Smoking Meat site (love Jeff's newsletters and share them with everyone) - just getting into the forums, although I signed up a while ago.I have 3 Brinkmann smokers - one large red round charcoal one (smoke/grill), one black rectangular charcoal one, and one black rectangular propane one. I love to cook in general, and the smoking and slow cooking is an extension of that. I'd like to say I've been very successful following tips from the site, and have turned out some pretty darn good Q!I always like trying new recipes and just got an Amazin Pellet Smoker box for my birthday, to try some cold smoking. I have used it on the propane grill with some steaks to give it a little more "woodsy" flavor, and can't wait to try more.I'd love to "talk shop", so please feel free to say hi or PM me.And since all my friends and family say my BBQ is excellent, I've decided to try and enter my first BBQ competition. Wish me luck!(Post edited to relefct site TOS, sorry)Thanks!-Steve

I think you are about to run afoul of the rules here at SMF, read the "terms of use" and you will find that outside links are prohibited unless it's to a sponsor's site or concerns USDA food safety rules. Even by PM. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Welcome aboard, Steve.  I wish you luck on your quest to enter comps, but I'm afraid that Cliff is correct.  I'm pretty sure you can't solicit funds through SMF via an offsite link.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions Post it
and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is because their
are so many different ways to make great Q We all have our own taste.

As stated above. You can't do that here.

    Happy smoken.

  5. Edited my post - sorry guys - figured via PM instead of in the public forum might be acceptable. Certtainly don't want to step on anyone's shoes right out of the gate.In any case, I've done a lot of stuff in my smoker - chicken (mainly wings), brisket (and burnt ends), shoulder, ribs (dry and wet, spare and Baby), pastrami (smoked corned beef with a pastrami rub), roast beef, turkey legs, duck, trout, sausage, steaks, and even cabbage! Hope to pick up more on the way through the forums!-Steve
