I'm sure this time of year is ripe with newcomers who got a smoker for Christmas!  I unwrapped a Masterbuilt 7 in 1 and am looking forward to giving it a go!

I've never used a smoker.  I've recently started an attempt at better grilling, and very recently started camp cooking.  I won't pretend to know much about cooking at all.  I just know what tastes good -or bad- to me.

I assembled the smoker last night and already understand what people mean when there's very little room between the water bowl and flame bowl to add wood.  But I'll be trying out the tips I've found here to see what works.

So far every question I've come up with already has an answer here.  Thanks for being so helpful!  But, I can tend to be a bit thick headed, so my apologies in advance if I post questions that have been answered a hundred times.

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
