I just found this site yesterday, and I have to say it's looks really good.  Lots of topics here that interest me.  I only have a weber kettle grill, but want to make one of the home made wooden smoke boxes.  I cook with dutch ovens, brew beer and like gardening.

Hey Fished, welcome to the site...I read where you have "Only" a Weber--- I have smoked some amazing  meats on Weber's over the last 30 years...As a matter of fact, I have my original one (circa 1982) and a newer one I bought a few years ago and a Smokey Joe in my grill/smoker collection of 9 grills/smokers. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but she feeds my addiction--she got me a Masterbuilt 40 inch electric smoker for Christmas...LOL

enjoy,

g

Hello Fished and Welcome to SMF.  You will find lots of Weber users here

Please do us a favor and update your profile with your location

Thanks for the welcome guys.  Papa G, I just meant that it wasn't anything fancy.  I have smoked some very good brisket and ribs in the weber.  Mine is one of the newer ones with the level that controls all three bottom vents.  Sadly they have rusted away.  I would like to replace them but haven't found a source for them yet.
