My names Dylan I'm 24 I'm from Southern California, im a paramedic and I love to cook. Just bought a smoke hollow smoker and I'm looking for any tips, tricks or certain sauces or rubs. I grill a bunch but want to actually BBQ with my smoker. Already been looking at some of the threads on here and have been learning a ton.

Welcome to the site Dylan.  I am not familiar with the Smoke Hollow Smoker but I am sure that there are folks here who are.  Have you tried the search bar for info?

Enjoy your stay.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from another wet day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

SH44 I think is the model. Smoke house pro series with the glass window. And yea I've been using that search bar hahaha. Also bought some bbq books. Everyone talks about how jeffs sauce is amazing and how it's easy to make. I really want to try it. There's a place out in LA called hambones which makes a sweet tangy sauce that has great flavor. I mainly just use masterpiece, jack Daniels, and sweet baby rays sauces here for now. Can't wait to try making my own and experimenting with certain things.

I've noticed. I'm glad to be here and I'm already digging into all the forums on here reading what people have done or made or messed up blah blah blah.

Welcome Dylan! This is absolutely the best smoking site anywhere. Lots of great people always willing to share their knowledge. Hang around long enough and you'll realize this isn't just a forum, but more of a family(a really big family!).  I highly recommend Jeffs recipes. I bought them right after I joined. I use his rub on everything and it has never disappointed. Not only do you get great recipes, but the sales help keep this website going,it's a win-win for everyone! post some pics of your smokes(q-view), we love pics! Happy smokin', David.

Jeffs book has rubs and sauces in it, but the ones he sells are only available online. They are excellent recipes and worth the money. Go for it, you'll be glad you did! Happy smokin', David.
