Ain't much south of my house except 8 miles of highway then you gotta get in a boat. I have a Triton hybrid grill/smoker. Been using it for almost two years. Its been a good ole smoker but its starting to fall apart. I am in the process of building a 100 gal. Upright smoker out of a commercial water heater. I enjoy following Jeff's newsletters and trying all that good stuff. Looking forward to learning a lot more with you guys.

Hi Norbo and welcome to the forums!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  Good luck with that build project!  When you can't find the answer you're looking for, just ask and someone here will have the answer.

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us! Would you mind updating your profile to show the other SMF members where you are located?  Might meet a few neighbors!

You should sign up for Jeff's Free 5 day E-Course, and it's great!  This is chock full of great information....no matter what your experience level might be!

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
