This past memorial day weekend I bought my hubby a combo grill he's been drooling over for ages. (smokey hollow 4-in-1)

At least, he *thinks* it's his.

Lots of great info, almost overwhelming.

At first I was almost disappointed to find out it's described as a COS. (totally didn't do my research first) But, the first smoke we did came out pretty awesome. (Tri-tip & baby backs) If it wasn't for info on this site, I would say there's a steep learning curve with smoking, but I'm feeling pretty confident!

I'm pretty excited about doing a bunch of mods on this thing. This is what I was planning on doing:

Sadly I cant start any of that fun stuff for a few weeks when I can get the time, but until then, thanks for this wealth of info!

noon30, welcome to SMF!  A huge congrats on the way you think, the new smoker for your Hubby (wink wink), and such a great plan for the mods.  It will be fun seeing you around the forum as you exercise your husband's "gift."
