I am brand new to smoking, my previous experience has been grilling on the back deck. Our Lions Club was looking for a signature dish for fundraisers, and a neighbor suggested smoking brat chunks wrapped in bacon with special spices and brown sugar on a kabob stick. We borrowed his smoker, and the debut was a big hit at the first fundraiser. Our club bought our own smoker with the profits, and plan to double the number sold at the next event. This got me interested in smoking in general, and I want to expand into other meats. I am having trouble with the King Kooker smoker, and will be posting a thread in the propane smoker section. Maybe some of you guys can help. This looks like it will be a fun new hobby.
